Kenneth Gerald Ross was born 1/15/1931 in Binghamton, NY. He retired as a tenured Math Teacher for the Vestal Central School System. On 6/26/1953, he married Geraldine (Gerry) Lee Foster who was born 9/28/1933 in Oneonta, NY. Gerry retired after thirty years of service at the State University of NY in Binghamton. When they were first married, they lived in Oneonta, NY, but moved to Vestal, NY and lived there for 26 years. Ken also served in the Korean War and used his GI Bill to earn his college degree.
Unfortunately, retirement for them did not represent the "golden years" for Gerry died of cancer on 2/17/1991 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY and three months later, on 5/25/1991, Ken died of a thrombosis to the brain. They are both buried in Floral Park Cemetery in Johnson City, NY.
They were both survived by the following children: Lee "Dutch" Roster Ross, b 2/27/1956; John Kenneth Ross, b 4/20/1957; Karen Gay Ross, b 4/2/1961; Margaret Jean Ross, b 7/14/1966
