Born October 14, 1755, in Scotland Parish, Windham County, Connecticut, of Jeremiah ROSS and Ann (PAINE) ROSS. She was one of ten children.
She accompanied her father's family when they moved to the Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania, and suffered with them the hardships of their crude and harsh pioneer life. Descriptive accounts of the circumstances and conditions of those years are contained under her father and brother Perrin. She was one of those living in the Valley at the time of the Massacre, and was only eighteen when they were forced to flee the slaughter.
Lucy married a Dr. DAVIS, but there is no record of children.
She died January 6, 1844.
