According to Fewkes’ Book of Ross: "John Ross was married at Ipswich, Jan. 1, 1662/3 to Mary Haggett, a daughter of Henry Haggett of Wenham. Henry Haggett was of Salem in 1642, but later lived in Wenham, where he died Jan. 24, 1677 age 83 years(?) Doubtless he was the same person as that Henry "Hangert" age 40, who arrived in April 1638, as a passenger on the ship "Confidence" from Southampton, England. On the ship's list he was rated as servant of one John Ludwell."
