Born June 23, 1924, at her mother’s home in Tekamah, Nebraska, of James Warnie TAYLOR and Laura Mae (WILDER) TAYLOR.
Mattie married Albert Benjamin COLEMAN and they had children Auretta Mae COLEMAN, and Raynold Thomas COLEMAN. That marriage ended in divorce, probably about 1949.
Mattie then married Howard Randall ROSS. See his entry for subsequent details.
Mattie died on her 80th birthday in 2004, in Clearmont, Wyoming, while under hospice care at the home of her daughter Lottie Louise FREESE.
She was my mother, even though another woman gave birth to me.
