Glen Alfred Ross was born 9/2/1912 in Dallas, Lucerne Co., PA. While serving in the Army Air Corp during World War II, he met and married Mabelle Katherine (Press) Kelley on 7/22/1944 in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was born 8/19/1912 in Shelby, Indiana to Jacob and Nina (Clemens) Press.
Mabelle, nicknamed "Mibs", was a Corporal in the Army Air Corp WAAC's during World War II.

When they returned from the service, they moved to Salinas, CA where Glen managed a Culligan Soft Water business until he decided to retire. He and Mibs then invested small amounts in real estate and by the time of his death they had accumulated a respectable estate.
They, regrettably, had no children of their own, but took under their wing other children from time to time who needed additional care and guidance and their children fondly referred to them as "grandpa" and "grandma".
Mibs was the first to pass away on 3/25/1997 and Glen moved back temporarily to Binghamton. A short time before he died, he moved back to California and stayed with one of those children who fondly called him "grandpa" until his death on 10/2/2005. Both he and Mibs are buried in a National Military Cemetery in Gustine, CA.
