Scott Laverne Ross (Ira, Samuel, James 2nd, James 1st) was born 7/27/1910 in Dallas, Lucerne Co., PA. On 4/4/1935, he married Agnes Daisy Harding (daughter of Byron and Frances (Sickler) Harding and descendant of the PA pioneer family of Hardings) who was born 9/26/1915 in Tunkhannock, PA. They lived in Binghamton, NY.

Scott Served in the US Navy during World War II. He worked for IBM and was a member of the American Legion. He died 1/24/1997 and is buried in Sunnyside Cemetery, Lucerne Co., PA.

To Scott and Agnes were born the following children: Sharon Rae Ross, b 7/8/1942; Linda Jane Ross, b 10/31/1944; Joanne Ross, b 1/4/1947; George Laverne Ross, b 3/2/1948; Donna Lee Ross, b 7/6/1949
