Born October 25, 1909, in Bladen, Nebraska (according to the incomplete birth certificate below), of George Granville ROSS and Olive Augusta (MILLION) ROSS.

Henry died as a result of a horse falling on him, April 22, 1925 at a place called Savageton, Wyoming (which was near the same location as his father’s homestead, about 18 miles northwest of Wright, Wyoming. He was only 15, and is buried in Mount Pisgah Cemetery, Gillette, Wyoming. (This information, from a Gillette News-Record newspaper article printed April 30, 1925, also showed Henry had 3 brothers and 8 sisters).

  The above birth certificate was received - with no name of child, along with a letter saying it was for HENRY ROSS. I wrote back to Nebraska & said "surely" the name can be entered! Their reply...
