He was married three times: to Irene (----); to Mary RICE, by whom he had a son, William Leo, and a daughter, Vickie D.; and to Betty Rae THOMAS.
“Little Bill” (so called because he was a huge man) was also sometimes referred to as “Bill, Jr.” (though he was not a “Jr.”)
Bill served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. When he returned, he took up bricklaying as his life profession. Like all bricklayers, he traveled the country following construction.
Bill died December 30, 1998 near Buffalo, Wyoming. He was buried in Mount Pisgah Cemetery, Gillette, Wyoming.
